Healthy Mind Specialists offer supervision and consultation services to individuals seeking licensure as a licensed mental health counselor or a licensed clinical psychologist.

Supervision

Clinical supervisors are legally responsible for the actions of their supervisees. Clinical supervisors can insist on a course of action, review files, etc. Supervision will be documented because we have a fiduciary responsibility and can be held liable for the actions of our supervisees.

Consultation
Consultants are not responsible for the work of their consultees. Information sharing is voluntary, and the consultee can choose to implement the suggestions or not. Documentation of the consultation is not required, and the consultant does not have a fiduciary responsibility, nor any liability.
